A LEADING children's charity is hoping to send a record number of families on holiday breaks this year - as part of a Covid-19 recovery plan.
Children in Poverty Inverclyde raised £54,000 last year through grants and donations to help needy families.
But they were forced to cancel all planned trips because of the pandemic.
When restrictions are lifted CIPI founder Pat Burke hopes to increase the number of families going on breaks to the holiday park at Hunters Quay.
Mr Burke said: "It is important that we maintain our focus on activities in 2021."
