A PIONEERING programme to boost mental health is being run by Belville Community Gardens.

It is aimed at people with poor mental health and there will be two courses for six people.

Each will last for six weeks, with the scheduled start date March 15.

Activities will include cookery, gardening, construction and joinery.

There will also be an opportunity to participate in breakfasts, group lunches and walks.

All participants will have access to counselling and workshops and develop a wellbeing plan.
