PORT Glasgow Health Centre is in line for investment.
MSP Stuart McMillan received confirmation from the Health Secretary that the Scottish Government is ready to consider upgrades to the town centre facility.
The assurance follows talks he held with health board chief executive Jane Grant, who told him that improving the Bay Street building 'was a priority for the health board'.
Mr McMillan said: “I welcome the Health Secretary’s commitment to consider providing financial capital to help make this happen once the board has submitted proposals."
