A PORT man has been charged with alleged historical sexual abuse of a 12-year-old girl.
Edward Tily, 60, is accused of committing lewd, indecent and libidinous offences on various occasions between August 1 and November 30 in 2005.
The alleged offences are said to have occurred within a cottage on the Island of Bute.
Tily, who lives near Port Glasgow town centre, pleaded not guilty through lawyer David Tod, with the case due to call again today.
