THE coronavirus infection rate in Inverclyde is now significantly lower than the Scottish average.
Over the period February 19-25 a total of 45 people in the area tested positive for Covid-19.
The positive case rate here per 100,000 people stands at 57, against 91 for Scotland as a whole.
