FASLANE, SCOTLAND
UNION members are set to go on strike at the Clyde nuclear bases.
Staff working for Babcock Marine are at odds with their bosses in a dispute over pay and bargaining rights.
Unite the union has announced that its membership at Coulport and Faslane are to take part in rolling industrial action following ‘overwhelming’ support in a ballot.
The strike will also be held in conjunction with a continuous call-out ban and ban on all overtime.
The rolling industrial action is set to begin from March 12.
