A WEST Scotland MSP has questioned First Minister Nicola Sturgeon on her claim that Scotland has never run out of PPE during the pandemic.
Jamie Greene pointed to staff complaints and a report in the Telegraph about hospital workers at Inverclyde Royal's intensive care unit not having the equipment needed at the start of the Covid-19 crisis.
Conservative MSP Mr Greene said: "The First Minister’s claim about PPE was frankly ludicrous and I could hardly believe her words.
“I had first-hand experience of key workers, health workers and social care staff who had nowhere near enough PPE and many contacted me - they will find the FM’s rose-tinted view an affront to their dedication and hard work over this past year."
