A MURDER conspiracy accused man charged with plotting to kill a child and four other people in a series of petrol bomb attacks in Greenock has been fully committed for High Court trial.
Robert Warnock, 24, is alleged to have 'directed' a gang of men to target people's homes as part of a violent scheme to bring about multiple deaths within the town.
Prosecutors say he conspired from Shotts Prison in Lanarkshire to kill a six-year-old girl, as well as two women and two men, between July 10 and September 19 last year.
Warnock made no plea at his second and final sheriff court appearance on the matter and remains remanded in custody.
A date for him to appear at the High Court is yet to be confirmed.
