AN anti-litter campaigner is organising a community clean-up along the waterfront in Port Glasgow.
Local resident Jacci Stoyle, who is the Lib Dem candidate at the upcoming Scottish Parliamentary election, highlighted the issue in the Tele recently and issued a call for action.
Now she is hoping people will join her on Saturday morning to pick up litter along the cycle path.
Jacci added: "I’m sick of all the litter, which in addition to being an eyesore, is a danger to wildlife, marine creatures and pets. I was so delighted with the feedback from the local community after the Tele article that I decided to organise this clean-up."
Anyone who wants to take part is asked to bring along plastic bags, gloves and a litter picker.
People should meet at 10.30am at the lay-by on Lithgow Way.
