INVERCLYDE'S MP will share a platform with other leading campaigners calling for drug law reform.
Ronnie Cowan has been invited to speak at the 'Resetting Drug Policy in Scotland' event this weekend.
Inverclyde has one of the worst drug deaths rate in Scotland.
Mr Cowan will be joined by campaigner, author, rapper and film-maker Darren McGarvey, who filmed part of his current series on poverty and class in Inverclyde.
The MP will speak in his role as vice-chair of the all-party parliamentary group on drug policy reform at Westminster.
