OVER 9,000 households in Inverclyde will benefit from a pandemic relief payment of at least £130.
The payment will be sent to those who qualify for council tax relief after the Scottish Government finalised its budget with the support of the Scottish Greens.
Families eligible for free school meals will also receive an extra £200.
The Greens’ West of Scotland MSP Ross Greer said: “These relief payments will benefit 9,780 households in Inverclyde.
"They will also provide a much-needed boost to Inverclyde’s economy."
