ALMOST 30 couples tied the knot in Inverclyde during the last quarter of 2020.
New figures released by the National Records of Scotland say that 28 marriages took place between October 1 and December 31.
Of the 28 ceremonies, 27 were for opposite sex couples and one was a same sex marriage.
One male civil partnership was also registered during the recorded period.
