A FIREFIGHTER from Port Glasgow station raised more than £3,000 in an endurance challenge in memory of his much-missed uncle.
Sean Marner, 39, ran a 5k for a full month to generate cash for MND Scotland.
Sean's uncle John Crawford passed away nine years ago following a battle with motor neurone disease.
To pay tribute to him, Sean completed a daily 5k during February and sponsorship donations reached £3,600.
On the last day of the challenge, Sean completed five 5ks in 24 hours, running at midnight, 5am, 10am, 3pm and 7.30pm.
His wee boy Max joined him on the 3pm run.
Sean, from Kilmacolm, said: "It was more difficult than I expected to be but I really enjoyed it.
"The response from people was unreal and I'm so happy with the amount raised."
