FIVE more deaths of coronavirus patients have been recorded in Inverclyde over the last week.
It means the weekly figure is back on the rise again, after three deaths were registered during the seven-day period beforehand.
Coronavirus accounted for over a quarter of deaths here between March 8-14.
A total of 19 deaths were registered from all causes during that period.
So far in 2021 a total of 75 local people with Covid-19 have passed away.
The district's death toll for the pandemic going back to last spring has now reached 207.
