INVERCLYDE has had a second successive week with two Covid-19 deaths sadly recorded.
The registrations were made from March 22-28.
A total of 16 people died from all causes in the district over the same seven-day period, say National Records of Scotland.
The number of local people who have passed away as a result of coronavirus this year has now reached 79.
The total Inverclyde death toll since infections began here last spring now stands at 211.
