COUNCILLOR David Wilson has criticised the pace of lockdown easing measures.
He believes businesses should have been able to open up sooner.
Mr Wilson says infection rates have been suppressed and people are ready to get out and about again.
He said: "We have been a bit slow - I don't see why hairdressers couldn't have opened two weeks ago.
"Children should also be back at school full-time.
"My constituents are ready to get out and working parents want their children back at school."
