A MAN was knocked to the ground and robbed by two thugs in Port Glasgow town centre.
Police are hunting for two men spotted running away from the scene in King Street.
The 51-year-old had his phone and £50 stolen during his ordeal.
Detective Constable Nicola Kilgour of Greenock CID said: "We are appealing to the public for information.
"Two men pushed the victim to the ground, took his mobile phone and money then ran off."
Anyone who witnessed the robbery on March 26 or who has information is urged to contact the police on 101.
