THE coronavirus infection rate in Inverclyde has fallen to 24.4 per 100,000 people.
A total of 19 positive tests were recorded locally between March 23-29.
This means less than one per cent - 0.8 - of all the tests carried out returned as positive.
The average infection rate for Scotland as a whole across the same seven-day period was 63 per 100k.
