INVERCLYDE has recorded its lowest weekly number of coronavirus deaths so far this year.
Statistics released today by National Records of Scotland confirmed that one Covid-19 death was sadly registered in the district between March 29 and April 4.
It takes the total number of deaths so far this year to 80, while the toll since the beginning of the pandemic has now reached 212.
