Greenock man facing two drugs charges maintains innocence

A GREENOCK man facing two drugs charges has maintained pleas of not guilty while prosecutors await a forensic report.

Stuart Sorley, 44, is accused of being in possession of heroin and the street valium drug etizolam on separate occasions in 2019 and 2020.

Sorley, of Cornhaddock Street, has formally pleaded not guilty through lawyer Aidan Gallagher, with the case due to call again on April 27.
