COLLEGE lecturers in Greenock have thanked students and members of the public for their support during recent strike action.
A dispute with their bosses on the role of assessors finally came to end following negotiations.
The local EIS-FELA branch secretary said: “We would like to thank students, trade unionists in other sectors and members of the public for their support.
"Lecturers now look forward to the continued teaching of our current cohort of students and hope to see prospective students apply for courses starting in the new academic year.”
