A CHALLENGE has been made to a decision refusing permission for a Indian food takeaway in an old shop on Belville Street.
Planners knocked it back, citing potential noise, parking and traffic safety issues as factors.
The applicants have lodged an appeal which councillors on the Inverclyde Local Review Body will consider this week.
Their agents insist that the issue of parking has been 'overstated' and stressed that the premises would be well-managed.
