COUNCIL bosses at the Municipal Buildings are braced for a potential strike over a payrise.
Unison members have voted overwhelmingly to reject COSLA’s current offer and in favour of taking industrial action in pursuit of an improved deal.
Senior union officials say they they will continue to lobby the Scottish Government for additional funds for the local authority but added that their employers 'need to prioritise their workforce when deciding how to spend the money they do have'.
