A GREENOCK man has been locked up on charges of threatening his next door neighbour with violence and alleged unlawful possession of a knife and a hammer.
Andrew Martin, 50, is further accused of struggling violently with two police officers.
The alleged offences are said to have occurred within a common close on Nelson Street on April 9.
Martin maintained pleas of not guilty through lawyer Edel McGinty at a pre-trial calling of the case at the sheriff court.
The matter is due to be dealt with next week.
