HOUSE price rises in Inverclyde are among the lowest in the country over the last five years according to new research.
The area recorded an average increase of five per cent, to be ranked third bottom of the league.
Experts from home-edit.com say the average pricetag in Scotland rose by 18 per cent, with the biggest hikes in Glasgow and the Outer Hebrides.
Inverclyde fared better than the north east, with Aberdeenshire and the 'granite city' itself registering the smallest increases in Scotland.
