A MAN was hit with a baseball bat during an attack on a Greenock street.
Officers were called to Holmscroft Avenue on Wednesday around 8.30pm and are now trying to track down the victim.
Sergeant Jason Logsdon said: "Two males were approached by another male who assaulted one of them using a baseball bat, before they all left the area prior to the police arriving."
The suspect, described as of stocky build with red/auburn hair and wearing a white top and shorts, left the scene in a white Audi.
