Over the next 12 months, Discover Inverclyde’s Food and Drink aims to support businesses in the area, delivering projects to link up food and drink to the district's tourism strategy, and work towards a recovery from Covid-19.
Kevin Blamire, chair of Tourism Inverclyde, said: “Being able to directly support food and drink businesses is hugely important to Inverclyde’s tourism ambitions.
"The food and drink sector is the lifeblood of Scottish tourism and has the opportunity to put places on the map.
"Inverclyde’s food and drink offering is waiting to be discovered and we are ambitious to encourage more people to visit when they are able as we head towards the reopening of many more parts of the Scottish economy."
