DRIVERS are being advised of a lane closure on the A8 near Port Glasgow.
Trunk roads outfit Amey are carrying out essential maintenance at the Finlaystone layby from Monday.
The work, which will continue until June 11 is to address the deterioration in the condition of the layby and will mean a single lane closure, which will be in place 24/7 until the scheme’s completion.
Amey said: "We thank road users for their patience while this essential maintenance is underway."
