A MAN has been arrested and charged after police discovered cannabis plants with a street value of more than £123,000 at a property in Port Glasgow.
Officers recovered a quantity of plants after a drugs search warrant was executed at Jean Street on Tuesday.
A 26-year-old man has been arrested and charged.
Chief Inspector Paul Cameron, area commander for Inverclyde said: "This was excellent work by Inverclyde’s local community policing team.
"We continue to tackle the production and sale of drugs across Inverclyde.
"The information we receive from the public is vital and allows us to carry out enforcement activity."
