GREENOCK and Inverclyde MSP Stuart McMillan has told of his pride after being sworn in to the Scottish Parliament for the fourth time.
Mr McMillan is beginning a second consecutive term as constituency MSP after winning 54 per cent of the vote during last week’s Scottish Parliamentary elections.
He said: “It is an honour and a privilege to be sworn into Holyrood for a second consecutive term as Greenock & Inverclyde’s MSP, and I’m grateful to all those who put their faith in me during last week’s election.
“I care deeply about Inverclyde and want to continue to work to address the challenges our community faces.
“The past year has been especially tough for our area, but our community spirit remains strong as ever, and together we will go on to make Inverclyde a better place for all."
