INVERCLYDE COUNCIL
FORT Matilda Bridge Club played its cards right to land a £2,000 boost.
The group will use the money from the council's grants scheme to cover running costs after losing income due to the pandemic and health and safety outgoings.
They had asked for an award of £7k, but received the lower amount.
