YOUNG people across Inverclyde are being urged to get their vaccine appointments booked.
West Scotland MSP Jamie Greene is appealing to residents between 18 and 29 to book in for their jag.
The estimated population of this age group in Inverclyde is around 10,719.
Many will have already received their vaccines as a result of underlying health issues, their job or because they are carers.
Mr Greene said: "We know how badly the pandemic has impacted young people.
"I hope this vaccine will give them a new lease of life which they have been denied for the past 15 months.
"The vaccine will help protect you, your friends and your family and allow you to socialise safely once again."
Appointments can be booked online at https://register.vacs.nhs.scot/
