A GREENOCK woman has been charged with repeatedly striking her ex-partner on the neck with a fork.
Mariesa Collins, 32, is said to have also seized the man by the neck during an alleged assault to injury within his flat.
Prosecutors say Collins breached a non-harassment order to enter the property at Prospecthill Court, Ann Street on February 27.
She is also accused of behaving in a threatening or abusive manner by allegedly shouting and swearing.
Collins appeared at the sheriff court via a video link to plead not guilty to the allegations through lawyer David Tod — and lodge a special defence of self-defence.
A sheriff and jury trial has been scheduled for September.
