INVERCLYDE is falling behind when it comes to providing electric vehicle infrastructure.
Figures from the Department of Transport - via price comparison site Quotezone - reveal that the area has just 24 public charging devices and four rapid charging points.
The highest number of electric car charging points - 197 - is in Glasgow.
