WORDSMITHS at a school in Kilmacolm have been writing letters to bring cheer to people in need.
Senior pupils from St Columba's launched a letter-writing drive and asked all pupils and staff to get involved.
Notes have been penned for youngsters at the Glasgow Children's Hospital and older people being cared for by Ardgowan Hospice and St Vincent's Hospice.
The pupils said they wanted to 'make everyone smile' and decorated their correspondence with drawings and colourful illustrations.
