INVERCLYDE Council says it is putting a number of measures in place to support families with mental wellbeing.
As part of coronavirus recovery work there will be targeted support available for children to access counsellors.
In schools there will be ways for young people to get access to early intervention help, while training will be provided for those working in nurseries.
A helpline to help people isolating will also continue.
Council chiefs plan to use funding from the Scottish Government to put their Covid-19 recovery action plans in place.
