CASH payments have now ceased permanently at Inverclyde Council's customer contact centre.
Anyone still wishing to pay the likes of council tax bills in this way can do so at outlets in the Greenock town centre area such as the Post Office or premises with PayPoint facilities, by presenting their barcode bill.
Alternatively, residents can settle their bills by direct debit, online payments, requesting and using a payment card, by post, or by telephone.
For further information about alternative payment methods log on to www.inverclyde.gov.uk/pay-it-online
