A PORT Glasgow man was caught in unlawful possession of an air rifle after his neighbour reported him to police for shooting at a target in his own back garden.
Andrzej Halas, 58, of Broadstone Avenue, has been fined £420 for the offence, committed in July 2019.
His lawyer told Greenock Sheriff Court: "His neighbour overheard what he believed was the firing of a weapon. Mr Halas was firing it at a paper target with a friend."
