HOUSE prices in Inverclyde are now rising faster than the national average.
The cost of buying a home in the district jumped from £96,000 in April 2020 to £108,000 this April, an increase which is double the national average.
According to the UK House Price Index, Inverclyde's 13 per cent increase was well ahead of the Scottish average of six per cent.
In total there were 108 sales this April, up five from the year before.
