A GOUROCK team triumphed in a football tournament held in memory of a much-loved schoolboy.
Teams across Inverclyde took part in the competition to remember Callum Tosh, who tragically lost his battle with cancer a year ago aged only 12.
His family - dad Graeme, mum Ruth and older sister Abbie - were touched when when Callum's former coach at St Andrew's Boys' Club, Steven Docherty, arranged the memorial tournament.
Gourock Athletic won the tournament and Graeme handed over the trophy to Ben Gerard and Aaron Harkins.
He said: "A lot of our family were at the game, it was quite emotional.
"A few of the boys that were in the winning team had played with Callum at St Andrew's."
Graeme thanked Steven and his wife Karen for for organising the tournament.
Adam Fyfe, of Morton Community, was top goalscorer and he and Logan Percival, of Port BC were named players of the tournament.
It is hoped that a competition will be played every year in Callum's memory.
