MORTON are to appoint a general manager to take over the daily running of the club.
Ton have previously had chief executives in charge at Cappielow but the new regime under fans' investment group Morton Club Together will not be appointing one.
They have launched a search for A £30k-a-year general manager instead.
They said: "The successful candidate will have a proven track record in management, preferably gained within a professional sports establishment."
