WITH Inverclyde set to move to Level 0 a fortnight today, you might be wondering what exactly that entails.

The First Minister is expected to move the whole of Scotland to Level 0 on July 19 if all necessary vaccination and harm reduction measures are met.

On 13 July, there will be a review of the current levels ahead of the change.

With ever-changing guidelines, here's what you will be able to do in line with Scottish Government guidelines.

Socialising

- You can meet socially in groups of up to eight people from four households in your home or theirs and can stay overnight

- Up to 10 people from four households can meet in an indoor public place like a café, pub or restaurant

- Up to 15 people from 15 households outdoors can meet

- Under 12's do not count towards the total number of people or households meeting outside but do count towards the household numbers indoors

- You don't need to physically distance from family and friends in a private home

Travel

- You can travel anywhere in Scotland in Levels 0, 1 or 2 but must not enter a Level 3 or 4 area unless for a permitted reason

- You can travel anywhere in England, Wales, Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man or the Channel Islands - but must check travel rules in those countries

- All holiday accommodation (hotels, B&Bs, self-catering, hostels caravan and camping sites) can open in line with sector guidance for tourism and hospitality

- Some abroad destinations are open for travel, check Scottish Government guidelines

Hospitality

- Consumption of food and alcoholic drinks – local licensing conditions apply for operating hours

- Table service and the wearing of face-coverings (unless exempt) when not seated by all customers is still mandatory in all hospitality venues

- You will be asked by the venue to provide your contact details (for each person) for Test and Protect purposes

Events

- Outdoor seated and open space events are advised to operate with a maximum capacity of 2,000 people

- Outdoor grouped standing events are advised to operate with a maximum capacity of 1,000 people.

- Seated indoor events are advised to operate with a maximum of 400 people

Other Important Points

- Everything can open except nightclubs and adult entertainment

- All close contact services, including mobile, may operate providing they follow Scottish Government guidance to ensure the safety of customers and staff

- All organised sports and exercise activities for all age groups are permitted, provided appropriate safety measures are followed

- Driving lessons and tests are permitted

- Public buildings such as libraries or community centres can open to the public

- All indoor and outdoor visitor attractions such as museums, galleries, educational and heritage attractions, zoos and aquariums can open providing there are physical distancing and hygiene measures in place

- Wedding ceremonies and civil partnership registrations can take place with a maximum capacity of 200 people (including the couple and the witnesses), provided the venue’s capacity allows for two metre physical distancing. This figure does not include anyone working at the wedding service/civil partnership ceremony or reception

- Funerals can take place with a maximum capacity of 200, provided the venue’s capacity allows for two metre physical distancing

- Receptions and post-funeral gatherings, such as wakes, can also take place with a maximum capacity of 200 people and alcohol may be served
