A GREENOCK man and keen photographer has slammed people dumping their rubbish at local beauty spot Lunderston Bay.

Tommy Bamford visits Lunderston every couple of days with his dog and says the bins have been overflowing during the recent good weather.

He said: "People are coming to the beach and can't get the bags into the bin, so they just leave them next to the bin instead of putting them in the car with them.

"Foxes and birds are then ripping the bags apart.

"I was walking back from the beach with my dog and I also found two pairs of children's flip flops and three buckets and spades next them - someone has just left them and walked away.

"It is pretty sad to see when it is one of the nicest places for cyclists, dog walkers and families."
