DEDICATED litter pickers cleared nearly 40 bags of rubbish from a popular scenic spot in Greenock.
Cowdenknowes Residents' Association and friends tackled the issue of waste in and around Murdieston Dam on Sunday.
Brian Hennan and the team at Inverclyde Council provided equipment and collected the bags.
Organiser Jan Spence said: "Everyone did such a great job and it was great to see so many get involved in supporting our local environment."
