A MAN has been charged with carrying out an alleged life-threatening head-kicking street attack in the centre of Greenock.
Adam Peden, 22, is accused of headbutting another man and striking him to the ground on Cathcart Street.
Prosecutors say he proceeded to kick the alleged victim unconscious on the road, causing the driver of a vehicle to take evasive action.
The Crown says Peden carried out the attack to the other man's injury and danger of life last August.
Peden, whose address wasn't given in court, has pleaded not guilty through lawyer Paul Keenan.
