GREENOCK actor Martin Compston popped into a home town pub yesterday to check out its mural in his honour.
The Line of Duty star was pictured in the Old Bank Bar after wrapping up filming on his new Amazon Prime thriller The Rig.
Staff took to social media to thank Martin for dropping in, and he responded saying he was 'genuinely chuffed' with the artwork in the bar's beer garden.
The piece was the brainchild of the pub's new tenant, Jo Bothwell, who commissioned Elderslie artist Chris Oates to create the themed wall after taking the reins earlier this year.
