INVERCLYDE is to get its own appointed wordsmith.
An experienced creative writer is being sought for a 12-month project.
The writer-in-residence, to be based with the local libraries, will be hired under Creative Scotland’s Culture Collective project.
Applications are sought from people who live, already work or are inspired to work in the area.
The residency will run for a year from September.
