A PORT Glasgow man who was caught with a heroin-filled syringe at Inverclyde Royal Hospital has failed to turn up at court for sentencing.
Graham Pearson, 38, of Robert Street, had been taken to the A&E at 1am on March 20 last year after suffering a seizure when a hypodermic needle fell out of his pocket.
Sentence had been deferred previously due to his absence from court and he was again not present to have the case dealt with on Wednesday.
The matter is now due to call again on August 11.
