TWO people in Inverclyde with coronavirus have died.
The deaths were registered between August 9 and Sunday, according to National Records of Scotland.
This brings the pandemic death toll in the district to 220, with 88 of those people dying this year.
During the last week, a total of 41 deaths were registered in Scotland where Covid-19 was mentioned on the death certificate, a decrease of 12 from the previous week.
There were five deaths each in Edinburgh, Glasgow, North Lanarkshire and West Dunbartonshire and three deaths in the Highlands.
