TWO men charged with fighting each other with weapons in a Gourock town centre street have pleaded not guilty at Greenock Sheriff Court.
Kyle Watson is said to have been armed with a golf club and a tyre wrench, and co-accused Ryan Cannon with a baseball bat on Shore Street.
Prosecutors say the pair hand a stand-up fight which resulted in both of them being injured on May 13.
Watson, 27 — who is remanded in custody — and Cannon, 29, of Skye Crescent in Greenock have denied the indictment charges through lawyers Aidan Gallagher and Marc Chambers.
Cannon has lodged a special defence of self-defence.
The case is due to call again on November 30.
